Lenore Kingsley grew up in a small town not far from Atlantic City, New Jersey. She is an only child and her mother was a nurse that usually worked the night shift at the Atlantic City Medical Center. Lenore’s father was a delivery guy for the Sea Isle Ice Company. He spent most of his days on the road delivering ice from the tip of Cape May all the way to Center City, Philadelphia. Lenore’s dad was a heavy gambler and he had little to no luck. He would come home bruised and embarrassed because he couldn’t afford to pay his debts. Eventually this gambling caught up with him and he was murdered in Hammonton one day, while he was making a delivery.
